INDEX ANNUITY Booklet

“This Booklet is great! Brett has written another Gem in what is turning out to be a series of excellent resource books for financial advisors. Don’t be fooled by its small size, it is jam-packed with information. What a pleasure to hand this to a prospective client to back up all the conversation you’ve had -- this will put an end to any 'buyers remorse'. If all you had was this booklet you would have all you need to be a $1M producer. Get several copies. Use it yourself; give it to clients, CPA’s, attorneys, business owners. It is a great door opener!” Mike Finder (and Associates) / Granada Hills CA

“This booklet is phenomenal - it contains the best information on Index Annuities I've ever seen! What a great training tool - and for using before or after a presentation! This little booklet contains more than I was taught in 26 years! I agree too any contract with the MVA language should be a deal killer.  Advisors NEED to get this booklet for every one of your clients!”

Dave Weiner / National Trainer for FEG / San Jose CA

“This by far is the best piece of information on Indexed Annuities I have read. It gives you all the "I Gotcha's". I am confident that if advisors had this booklet, there probably would have never had to of been a Dateline show!”   Will Stiverson / Fenton MI

"The booklet is really good!  The margins are full of reminder notes to myself about points on Index Annuities I forgot I knew and need to remember!"

Bill St. Clair / VP Annuity Marketing and Training FEG / San Jose CA

"This might be better than the first booklet! I thought I knew a lot about IA's but the section on MVA's was excellent. Instead of ‘better’ maybe I should have said more relevant, because I think more people already have a background for this discussion than for one on "Private Plans". However, I think this booklet excellently sets them up for the "Private Plan" discussion.”  Harry H. Sonke / Riverside CA

“I like what you wrote. I seriously do. Thank you for making our lives easier!”
Tony La / San Jose CA

"Thanks Brett! This is the best quick source information booklet that I have read regarding IA’s. In this era of “information overload” you cut to the chase and analyze the best IA’s on the market without bias. No “Smoke and Mirrors” hype to sort through. This will help clear up any misconceptions that many of my fellow baby boomers might have regarding IA’s as part of their retirement plan.  This booklet and making me aware of the Enhanced Convalescent Care Income benefit is THE reason why I'm going to write a $1 million annuity this week, and so too help them plan for that need!"   Paul I. / Cypress CA

BOOKLET

Now Updated with market #'s to 12/09 and current IA caps (2/10)!

This is a 40 page Booklet on everything you NEED and WANT to know about (Equity) Index Annuities!

This is designed to be used by the Advisor as an information / education tool to answer these questions for your Client:

     - What is an Index Annuity?

     - Is it really without Market Risk?

     - Why is it a good Investment?

     - What Realistic Return can be Earned?

     - What is the Best Design?

     - What is Market Value Adjustment?

     - What are the Surrender Charges?

     -  Are Loans Available?

     - Do Bonuses have a Cost?

     - Are Renewal Rates a Concern?

    - How does the GROWTH Guarantee Work?

    - How does the LIFETIME INCOME Gurantee Work?

   -  Which Companies offer the "Best" IA?

For most Advisors this Booklet will likely change completely what you thought an Index Annuity was supposed to do, how it works and the traps you need to watch out for.  For instance, are you aware that - except with only TWO companies - every other IA offered by every other company has substantial Market Risk built into it?  And if your client needs to Surrender more than 10% of their policy this Risk could cost them 10% to 30% in addition to the Surrender Penalty?!  This could be tens-of-thousands of $'s!

With the use of this Booklet you will obtain uncondi-tional confidence from your Client that you possess both Knowledge and Integrity, and that you truly are looking out for their best interests!

PRICE

Normally Booklets are available only in bundles of 10 ($35 / $3.50 each).  But for you to both learn the information in this booklet and to check it out first, you can order just 1 for $5 + $1 postage (Available to non-advisors too!).  To do so send me an email on the Contact Page, and I'll send you a PayPal invoice (please place other orders using the Order Page).

Equity-Indexed Annuities:  Investment product offers a Guarantee.

The returns on these annuities are loosely tied to a stock index - most commonly the Standard & Poor’s 500. However, in return for giving up some of the potential of the index itself, (you) get a guarantee that the worst the investments can do is earn a zero return.

Should You Invest In An Equity-indexed Annuity?

2-24-08: Historically many of these accounts have averaged returns of 7%, with 10% to 20% in a year not uncommon. In years when the broader markets have performed well so have EIAs. But the crucial value of these accounts is realized during rapid market declines, when the equity indexed annuity will maintain its principal as well as interest gains from past years. With the market advancing and declining so rapidly, many consumers are looking for safety and security without having to sacrifice reasonable interest re-turns. Granted, these annuities will not return 50% in one year, but the peace of mind investors gain knowing their investment cannot decline has many placing a portion of their retirement funds into these accounts.

8-24-07: Equity-indexed annuities let investors have it both ways: They track the stock market's gains, but with less downside risk than an index fund or an exchange-traded fund. That's an appealing concept … Equity-indexed annuities are a kind of hybrid. They offer more upside than a fixed annuity, but they have less risk, and (so) less upside, than a variable annuity.

Index Annuities: A Bear-Proof Way to Ride the Market. In a dicey market, their no-downside feature and the potential upside make for an attractive combination.

Index Annuities May Be The Perfect Product

12-4-06: Index Annuities have the ability to provide consumers with the two main advantages of Variable Annuities: income for life and a hedge against inflation. (And) with the most meaningful elements of the investment risk (with) the insurer, rather than shifting it to the policy owner.

It's what you know for sure that just ain't so."
